The truth is that Mark is totally able to transition eras in a really seamless way. You almost feel the words transition you so effortlessly that it just works perfectly here.Add it to your list if you're one for adventure and in general are a fan of fast paced stories that grab your attention and refuse to let go. I am not much of a sci-fi kind of gal but this was awesome...and I think it would be classified as sci-fi. So maybe the author has turned me into one.
Enjoyed it very much and look forward to more
Just finished Part 1, and without telling too much, let me just say there is never a dull moment from the first page onward. Thumbs up! Looking forward to the rest of the series!
I really enjoyed the fast paced story and I am looking forward to the secrets that will be revealed in part 2. I can't wait to read more of this magical world! Lots of potential in this story.
Finn McCool is on a grand adventure in this book - and the action starts right from page 1 - loved how this journalist in Glasgow finds herself wrapped up in a time travel adventure through the Scotland ages. What will happen next? The series continues in 2014. Worth a read!
Very much enjoyed the book up to this point and will be impatiently awaiting the conclusion. I love the world he has built in these pages, you are completely drawn in and look to the next clue to solving the challenge.

Although the transitions can sometimes get confusing they actually draw you into the characters n lead you forward with the strength of the ancients. If you enjoy fantasy and mystery combined to make a riveting story then u will truly enjoy this one until you get your hands on the 2nd one!
